This is a free online training workshop for OHNI members only, with a maximum of 10 participants. Other registrants will be put on a waiting list in case of cancellations.

This workshop is a sound editing workshop for beginners using Audacity software, though many of the skills are transferable to other programmes.

Prior to session participants will be asked to:

• Have a sample interview recording in .MP3 format (Can supply instructions on converting from .WAV if required)
• To have downloaded the free Audacity software (instructions can be provided)

• Ensuring right conditions for best quality recording
• Tour of editing tools
• Editing demonstration including audio quality
• Participants are given some short practical exercises to undertake in real time using their own PCs and audio recordings
• Troubleshooting
• Q&A
