The Oral History Network of Ireland welcomes anyone working in or with an interest in oral history.

We have four categories of membership available:

Individual membership at the standard rate.

Concessionary membership for unwaged individuals, students and seniors.

Group membership is available at a cost of €50.00 for up to five individuals joining at one time from any community or local history group.

Institutional membership is available at a cost of €120.00 for all larger institutions, including educational bodies and universities. Please contact us (membership@oralhistorynetworkireland.ie) for further information.

Please note that membership runs for a calendar year, i.e. 1st January – 31st December.

Members receive:

– Special discounted rates for our events

– Early registration options for many events

– Sessions at networking events for members-only

– Email updates highlighting events of interest to the oral history community, job / consultation opportunities etc.

– Opportunities to get involved on OHNI sub-committees to help shape the organisation (we are always looking for members to become more involved, if you would like to learn more please get in touch)

– Members can submit their projects for consideration for inclusion on our website’s projects page:https://oralhistorynetworkireland.ie/projects

– And this year we will re-launch our discussion forum for members only.
