Irish Droughts: Environmental and Cultural Memories of a Neglected Hazard

Irish Droughts is an IRC Coalesce funded project based in UCD School of Geography bringing together researchers from physical and human geography, history and environmental studies to reconstruct historic Irish droughts. It includes the analysis of existing climatic records, tree-ring data, historic documents and folklore records, and the collection of new oral histories.
