Sharing Stories: An Introduction to Oral History
Oral history helps bring the past to life by recording the voices, experiences, stories and memories of people who have lived through history. In this introductory session members of the Oral History Network of Ireland will introduce some key issues to consider when undertaking an oral history project, showcase the diverse range of oral history projects across Ireland, and offer practical advice to those interested in recording their own interviews. There will be time for an audience Q&A at the end.
